Christine Merser

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Christine Merser is a writer, strategist, and storyteller whose work spans fiction, nonfiction, and memoir. Her debut novel, Flight of the Starling, is the first in a trilogy exploring the quiet complexities—and bold awakenings—of wealthy women leading curated lives. It’s already being called “made for Netflix,” and for good reason: Merser’s sharp observations and layered characters are ready for the screen.

Her nonfiction work, Circles of Collaboration, draws from decades as the founder of a successful strategy firm, where she worked with clients across industries and led conversations about women's leadership, power, and voice in a changing world. The book is both a guide and a reflection on how women can lead with purpose and unity, rooted in Christine’s own growth and the circles that shaped her.

The Letter is her most personal work—a memoir chronicling her complex, beautiful, and often challenging relationship with her mother. It's honest, unsparing, and deeply moving. Christine is also the voice behind American Memoir 2025, a Substack column chronicling these turbulent political years through a deeply personal lens. Her earlier memoir blog drew thousands of readers, and her essays have appeared in Oprah Magazine, Newsweek, and others.

Whether she's writing fiction or nonfiction, Christine Merser writes to illuminate what lies beneath the surface—and what’s possible when we dare to look.
