A new kind of publishing house, making books for today's readers.
"Every person who succeeds carries a story. We turn yours into a novella length narrative that keeps readers on the edge of their seats, the way a great film does."

About Apricity Publishing
Non-fiction novellas... lessons from those who got to the finish line...
Apricity Publishing is built on a simple belief: sometimes more is just more, not better.
Founded by strategist and author Christine Merser, Apricity publishes books across genres, with a particular focus on a form whose time has come: the nonfiction novella.
Many of the women who come to us are standing at a familiar threshold. They are preparing for a keynote, stepping into a board role, launching something new, or being asked to articulate how they built what they built. Their story already exists. It lives in notes, talks, decks, emails, and conversations. What is missing is a single place where it all comes together.
Professional nonfiction is at an inflection point. The world is saturated with advice and opinion. Readers still want stories that show a path and reveal a lesson. They just want them without 300 pages of repetition.
Not every story wants to be a full-length book. Sometimes the story is 80 pages. Sometimes 120. Often, that is exactly the right length.
The nonfiction novella is one of Apricity’s core specialties. These are concise, substantive books that capture a specific professional journey, idea, or body of experience. They are not about reinvention. They are about recognition.
Apricity works with authors from early idea through finished publication. Some arrive with a concept. Others come with partial drafts. Wherever the starting point, we provide the editorial and production partnership required to turn lived experience into a finished, publishable book.
This is a paid publishing engagement. We work with a limited number of authors each year and focus on depth, not volume. We are not a vanity press. We are a publisher. We select projects we believe in and are willing to stand behind.
In addition to individual books, Apricity publishes an annual anthology of women’s business stories. Released at the end of each year, each volume features short chapters drawn from successful and failed ventures alike, chosen for the clarity of the lesson inside them rather than the scale of the business.
For many authors, a book becomes both a personal milestone and a strategic asset. It travels with them into speaking, leadership, board work, and whatever comes next.
Think of it as a nonfiction novella.
A book with a beginning, a middle, and an end.
And a starting point for what comes next.
